GPS Services Paragon rents Trimble Pathfinder Pro XR GPS receivers to clients to map existing features in the field and record associated attribute data. Using differential post-processing the Pro XR is capable of sub meter accuracy (RMS) on a second by second basis and accuracy down to 10 cm (RMS) using carrier-phase.

The Pro XR can be linked to a laser range finder and digital compass where high relative accuracy is required and a laptop computer using Aspen software for aerial or road surveys. For real-time navigation and layout applications a Global Surveyor real time differential receiver is used.
